Hi there!
I got this pack as part of a bundle, where it says "You can now claim the packs included in the Mega Bundle by going into their itch.io project pages! :)"
The point is... I can only download them, not claim them, and access to all parts of the bundle is limited to 1 year, after which it's going to expire. Was this an oversight? 😅
Hi! When you go to 'my library' page and see the collection called 'things you own', can you see the packs from the bundle there? If all the packs from the bundle are there, that means everything is fine and you claimed the individual packs.
When you purchase the mega, or grand bundle, you get a key generated to claim the containing packs. When you claim them, you'll have access to them and their updates forever :) I checked the sale data and everything seems to be okay, so please let me know if you see the packs in your library!
Hi! thanks for you swift reply! :)
I can totally access the packages right now, but for download only, there's no "claim" option. As in, the asset is considered free, and I (well, everyone, not just me), can only "claim" them by paying extra for each asset. Which, I believe, is not what the bundle had in mind.
The difference is that when a year has passed, I fear we can no longer access the assets as they are no longer free, and we didn't claim them. Hope it makes sense - I'm not sure if Itch.io is handling bundles differently now ;)
The sale for the bundle is set to 'claim' the containing packs, so you won't loose the access to them! Are the projects from the bundle contents visible in 'things you own' collection in your account library? :)
The time you purchased the bundle, on each project from it you should have seen 'download or claim'. When you clicked on it to download, the ownership key had been generated for your account.
After clicking on 'download or claim', you won't see this text anymore. It will now just say: 'download', but your account owns the packs since the first click on 'download or claim'
oh, wait, my bad, I didn't get past the download or claim page.
If you get past the payments/paypal/stripe window, you have the option (but, it's an option, it doesn't happen automatically!) to actually claim the bundle:"Claim this asset pack to your itch.io account to download later. If you link this asset pack to your account you'll permanently own it: you can download it whenever you want and receive updates. You may only claim this asset pack while the promotion is active."
This also means that if you don't do that, at the end of the year you're going to lose access ;)
I'm not 100% sure, but if Itch.io confirms that, maybe the bundle should specify (both in the description and in the key file you can download) to access each bundle to actually claim it. I believe it would save you plenty of time instead of having to deal with "where are my assets?" requests in a year from now :)
The year timeframe was just a bald duration I set while making the sale. It doesn't mean that you'll have access to the packs for just a year, haha. I'll extend the time frame for as long as it will allow me. It's good that you pointed this out, thank you!
no worries, apologies for being picky but if I'm even partially right I believe it could save you some headache in the future - it's definitely not my first purchase on itch.io, I've access to creating bundles myself, so let's say I have a quite strong suspect that pressing "download or claim" isn't just going to automatically claim an asset, you have to explicitly press "Claim" after that ;)
Apologies for littering your comment section but I believe it's worth checking with Itch.io support just in case ;)
Can't wait to test the assets in my next jam, they look beautiful! <3
I'm glad you pointed this out! Definitely saved some headache in the future, haha.
Thank you for supporting my work! Have fun!
the key point is that part: "You may only claim this asset pack while the promotion is active."
But to do that, purchasing the bundle is not enough, you have to manually go past the "just download it" button (not the "I already paid") and in the download page that opens right after press the "claim" button. And do that for each of the included assets :)
This is simply amazing. A great pack for all indie devs.
Thank you!
Great asset pack. I just used it for my most recent game, for a game jam and it was perfect !
Thank you very much! I purchased it and I'll play it soon!
Oh, thank you !
Chiming in, a magnum revolver would be cool to have!
Other than that, great pack!
Great idea! Thanks!
I've been building a source inspired game engine for a little bit now... love your assets. They are some of the very, very few that exist on this platform. I hope you release more! I'm mostly relying on assets made in 2010 or before...
Hi! That's really cool, I hope to see it at some stage of development! And thank you very much!
You're the best. Great models and you are updating them. I will be happy to add you to the credits list if you want. I wish you all the best.
Thank you very much! That would be an honor!
Is it intentional to be locked out of the premium file even after I bought it at the previous price a few months ago?
I'm having the same issue, I bought it a while ago, however the only file that I can download is the basic, which is the free one
Hi! Sounds like a problem on itch.io end. You probably bought it for a lower price, so now there's a mismatch. I'll change it back from "name your own price" as it seems to be causing the problem and let the developers know about this. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Oh no, that's unintentional. I changed the payment option to "name your own price" and seems lile it messed it up. I don't know if it's supposed to work this way, but I'll let the developers know. In the meantime I'll switch it back to "payment" instead of "name your own price"
Hi just wondering what do you think the easiest way to build levels using this pack would be? Blender or in game engines? Because I am having trouble with cell sizing in the godot game engine
Hi! I'm not familiar with Godot, but it should be possible to change the grid cell size in the scene to make it match. Please send me some screenshots and more details to my email of the mismatch. And if you cannot set up the grid to match the dimensions of the models in Godot, then please calculate the new scale needed to match the cell size you need for the floor piece. In that case I'll provide a suitable scale of the models to make this convenient to you. :)
I think I figured it out, issue was some of the GLB files are a lot bigger than others so having them in the same mesh library caused lineup issues while using GODOTS builder.
If that's something that could be fixed from my side, please let me know!
Thanks for your help but I think its more of a me being a godot noob issue lmao
Haha, I'm a bigger Godot noob than you. Had it open just once
I actually just drag the glb's to the level then duplicate them.
interesting, are you using godot? and if so how are you getting collisions onto the GLB files
Open the filesystem, double click the glb file - it's gonna open the import tab. Then select the mesh in the left, and in the inspector at the right there's an option "enable physics"
Thank you for helping us out, mrjshzk!
cheers mate looked through a lot of resources and many failed to mention this method
Bought this pack and the bunkers pack a while ago and made a game using them, thanks for all the good work Pizza Doggy!
Thank you even more! Your game looks really cool, I'll be playing it soon!
Thank you for giving it a try please let me know what you think!
Absolutely!
❤️ Love the style! Reminds me of classics like Resident Evil or Silent Hill.
Will definitely purchase this bundle.
Thank you very much! Can't wait to see what you'll make with it!
Bought your Mega Bundle and it is Amazing. Thank You for all your help as well.
Thank you even more! Best of luck to you!
Hi, would you consider to add something like a wardrobe/locker? tks :)
Hi Loren! This project is in a released state, I'll be doing just some small tweaks to the models later on. The PSX Bunkers is still in early access, I'd like to add it there please!
Yes of course! Thank you very much :)
Thank you even more!
suggestion to add something like a note that can be sticked to a monitor etc.
Absolutely! Thank you!
Hello, Just bought all of your packs they are amazing, i have some troubles importing it in Unreal5.3, are OBJ better than FBX ? do i need some specific import options ? thanks.
Hi! I found your comment in the spam section accidentally, had no notification letting me know about it for some reason.
I have no experience with Unreal Engine, did you figure something out?
For anyone considering buying this-
I really can't recommend this pack enough. There are so many assets and all of them look fantastic and fit really well together. They are super well optimized too! They share a lot of materials so you end up with very little overhead... and for the price? such a great deal!
tldr: buy it!!
Is there a spreadsheet or other list of some kind that lists all of the objects and/or previews together? I can see there are some screenshots in the comments and your logs include the new objects added, but it would be nice to be able to see it all in one place easier to access- including if packs have overlapping or separate objects as I saw you mention in a previous post.
That said I wanted to ask if there were any plans or interest toward developing assets that would fit a more medieval setting? I really love the way your assets look but I'm currently working on a project that isn't as modern-focused.
Hi! There's a "CONTENT" text on the page, it opens a link to the list of contents! I might make a medieval pack at some point, but for now I would suggest checking out this one, it looks really cool! :) https://wildenza.itch.io/psx-medieval-pack
Omg sorry for missing the link! And thank you for the recommendation !
I'm glad to help! I should have made the button more obvious!
Just wondering, does this include PSX Bunkers or is it a single pack?
Hi! No, both packs meant to be combined if needed, but the PSX Bunkers have a few objects from the PSX Mega Pack, because those few objects suit both packs very well
seems like the blender file is missing some asstes
Hi! Thanks for letting me know, I'll have a look when I'm back home! :)
figured out that some of them are combined, like the wooden floor is a concrete as well.
Ohh. That's right, some objects are also parented to others to make it easier for the devs
Hi again! I've checked just to make sure. It doesn't seem like anything is missing, unless I'm stupid and can't see it, so please let me know if that's the case! :D
yep all there, btw i want to recreate the texture effect to create assets for the game using this pack.
is it ok if you share the process?
Hi! I'd like to keep it a trade secret for now. Making these was a lot of work, I often was in a bad state of health for overworking myself. Sharing the detailed process could cut the sales down to the point where it wouldn't be worth a bit financially to continue making these. Making this stuff doesn't pay well, but still it brings a lot of joy to play the games made with these, so I'll keep this idea in mind and I'll have to think about it really well if a compromise could be made to suit us all.
Every purchase makes my life a bit easier, all thanks to you guys. I really appreciate you all!
Great pack. Would love a more standard handheld flashlight like a black maglite.
Hi! Thank you! I'll add it soon :)
Hi! I added two variations of it to the bonus download!
Wonderful!
Loving the pack so far.
Would love an addon to this pack - or even another separate pack which includes outside environmental assets. Ruined buildings, rubble, street assets, etc.
Hi! I'm very happy to hear that! I'll be making another pack for that during the summer!
And another question, do you take private commissions?
Hi! Not for a while at least, as I have very little free time left during the day :( The next few months will be like this
I wrote you a private message but you probably don't see it. I wanted to ask if you are also planning any characters? Or if you could agree on a price for modeling some characters for me.
Hi! I'm not into character modeling, because I don't have much interest in it and have very little experience doing it :(
Ok, does not matter. thank you for answer. :)
Please let me know if you have more ideas!
we were just talking about a vintage projector. Other than that, I think it could fit in this deck. any graffiti decals, blood, dirt on the wall, rust or similar decals. some broken electrical wires, bones, skulls, discarded clothing (suits, shoes, gloves, etc.), chemicals, gas masks, badges, flu mask, bandages. ladders, I don't know anymore. just what I thought :D
I won't be able to finish the vintage projector today, but I'll get it finished tomorrow after work! That's a lot of interesting stuff that I haven't thought about, thank you very much! I'll do the rest in the following weeks! :)
Hi there! I added a vintage projector to the bonus download! The bonus is temporal, I'm working on another pack which will have these and a lot of your requested stuff. I'll give you a download key for it when it's published! :)
Hi! I could not see your email anywhere, there might be a mistake :)
Well, I sent you a message here on itch. so I thought it was automatically sent to your email. :)
I bought this asset in a package and also bunkers. It looks amazing. could you add some cobwebs? :)
Hi! Thank you very much! I'll add it in an hour as I just finished the elevator sign! :)
Thank you very much. you are awesome.. the only thing missing from you is the music package. Otherwise, I have all the packages. :)
Thank you even more! Your ideas is what makes these assets good :)
I added 5 types of cobwebs, 3 are visible in the pictures! :)
Wow thank you so much it looks amazing!
You're always welcome!
Hey, could you add an elevator sign? tks :)
Hi! Okay! I'll add it in the next few hours :)
Tks!!
You're always welcome!
How does it look? :D
it's amazing, love it
Thank you! If you have more ideas, please share them with me! :)
I added it and updated the asset pack! :)
can you ad wall signs pls and decal?
Hi there! There's some in the PSX Bunkers asset pack, or is it something specific that you need? :)
Okay thx!
You're always welcome! :)
Not only has your pack saved me time but it is so well made it puts my models to shame haha. Something to aspire to. I will continue to follow your work closely and may be in touch for some commission work in the future if you are interested!
Thanks a million more! I'm always interested, just often don't have enough time. I'm working myself to death already :D
I know that feeling very well. Full-time job, full-time family. Just trying to squeeze in my passion to create! :D
Hey I just bought this, psx bunkers and the trees pack. I was wondering if you have a twitter or discord server I can follow?
Hi! I appreciate you!
I'm not really active much on social media for a good few years now, so you could only stay updated about this stuff from me on this platform or if you subscribe to the annoying marketing emails that itch.io sends you if you follow me here :D
Alright. No worries. I'll check back here often. Thanks for the cheap asset packs. :D
Thank you even more for helping me to make these! :)
In these asset packs, are the levels premade like in the screenshots or are they split up pieces in a build your own level way?
Hi! They're modular pieces that you use to build levels. If there's a need for premade rooms without furniture, please let me know!
But premade rooms can be a hassle when working with colliders, so I would recommend using these pictures as a reference to build it piece by piece from prefabs. You can use references from other games or real interiors too, it's pretty easy!
okay thanks
If you have trouble putting game levels together, you can send me an email. I would send you some cool references and videos that will help you to improve the design of your scenes. I have little, but some knowledge in game development, that might be helpful to you. I'm always open to help
hey, could you please add some clocks? thanks!!
Hi yotsimitsu! Wall clocks? :)
yessir, and a bed pls >.<
Okay! I'll add in the next 24 hours! :)
Hi again! I added two wall clocks, a single and a two level bunk bed :)
yo thanks pizza
You're always welcome! Please let me know if you have more ideas in mind!
when next update?
Hi! I'm currently focused on Echoes: Audio Super Kit and PSX Bunkers, so not sure. Is there something you'd like me to add to it? :)
I will think about :)
maybe add explosives
Sounds cool! I'd like to add it to the PSX Bunkers asset pack, is it okay? :)
Yes thanks!
pleas check email I send you
WHat's in this pack?
Hi there! Everything seen in the pictures and gifs, and variations of many of the modular structures and objects! There's a lot of stuff, it's a nightmare to maintain a list in a text format, so I stopped doing it since version 1.7. Please let me know if there's something you're looking for in particular! :)
Hey again! I suggest adding like a paper model, I would use it to add reading notes to my game
Let me know if that would be possible :D
Hi! I'd like to add it to the PSX Bunkers, if you don't mind, as I made a bunch of decals for the next update of that asset pack! I believe you own it, is it correct? :)
Yes, and please! When do you think it's coming?
Decals are also gonna be very useful, what type of decals you working on?
I have made various signs. Thinking of making damaged surface decals and more litter, also construction debris :)
I'm aiming to release it by saturday!
Let me know when it's out!
Okay!
I don't have everything ready for the update yet, but I'll release what is already finished in 3-4 hours when I'm back home! :)
Hi again! I have updated the PSX Bunkers asset pack, also added the things to it that were requested by you! :) Have fun!
when is the next update coming out?
Not sure yet, as I'm doing an internship and bachelor's thesis right now. In the following few weeks I'll focus more on Echoes and PSX Bunkers asset packs whenever I'll get some free time, which is mostly during the nights :) I'm also slowly working on a horror game!
These assets are beyond amazing!
Hi Cynical Frog! A million thanks to you! I hope to see some amazing games that you'll include my assets in! :)
Please let me know if you have any ideas to improve it or add something to it! :)
I dont know what could be improved. Everything is perfect!
Thank you! But there's always something that could be improved! :)
hello! this bundle has everything right? Is everything you sell included here
Hi there! This is the bundle with all of my assets included: https://itch.io/s/119762/all-in-one-spring-sale-2024 :)
I absolutely love this pack! I'm using a lot of the base meshes as the building blocks for my horror game and they have been a lifesaver! I believe in credit where credit is due so when the game comes out I'll be sure to have you in the credits section under "Models/Assets Creation"! (If that's okay with you of course!)
Hi! I appreciate your kind words! I'm excited to play your game when it comes out, I hope I won't miss out on that! Credit is not required, so whatever suits you better! Take care! :)
hi please add decals
Hi! I'm adding a bunch of decals to the PSX Bunkers asset pack soon. I hope to release the update on friday. Been working today on something that is simillar to missile silo and military underground tunnels in Rust! :) I will likely increase the price, so it would be a good idea to get it soon! Please let me know if you have more ideas, I'd like to keep these assets community oriented! :)
hello, I'm here , I'll pay for the psx mega pack and psx bunkers pack
Hi! Please let me know if you're there!
im here
It's on, please let me know when the purchase is completed! :)
done, i bought both of them
Great! I'm happy it worked out for you! Have fun with it! :)
Thanks man, you are a real gem, once I start selling I will definetly support you!!!
No need to support me any extra, your support is already more than enough, I appreciate you! Best of everything to you! :)
Hey again! Could you make the padlock have actual codes that could be incorporated in a game engine?
Hi again! A mechanical one? :)
Yeah, but still fitting with the overall aesthetic
I'm working on a update for the PSX Bunkers, I'm releasing it in 3-5 hours, Do you own it? I'd like to add it there if that's okay! :)
I have added it into this asset pack! I guess it's better to have it in this one
Hey I love your work and would love to purchase but my country doesn't have paypal. Are there any other payment methods you would consider please?
Hi! Thank you! The itch.io payment system is inconvenient. If I choose another option for receiving payments, then half the money is instantly taken for various fees and then I have to also wait weeks to access the rest of it, and then another set of fees and taxes and I'm left with 16-17% of the money from sales :(
There's a heart icon on my profile, that allows to send a donation and supports card payment. If you like, you can pay for the assets through that link! :) If that doesn't work for you, we can do a bank transfer, simply email me!
Great, I’ll do the donation thing if that’s good for you. Would you be sending the assets through email? If so I’ll email you right away :) also I’m glad we’re having this conversation for other people around the world who would like this asset as well.
Cheers! I'll send you download keys to claim the assets and link them to your itch.io account :) Talk to you soon!
One more question, sorry this is taking so long haha. I tried to donate but in the country list, mine doesn't come up. Would that be a problem or can I just pick a random country and donate anyway? just don't want the money to be stuck in the app :)
I think you can pick any country, US would be optimal I think. I wonder if it's checking if the IP address matches the country selected, but the chances should be slim
